So guess where I am?? I just got transferred to......DELTA JUNCTION!! It is the coldest place in the whole mission and the coldest time of the year. It is negative -60 or below and is VERY windy! I will defiantly be a white freezing cold Christmas. There is almost no daylight (being the darkest time of a year) I flew to Fairbanks this morning and am going to be driving down to Delta Junction tonight. Which is over 100 miles away in the middle of nowhere? Because it is in the middle of nowhere it doesn't get the warmth from the ocean. So, it is like the frozen Tundra :) LOL I have finally gotten out of Anchorage after being in Wasilla for 4 months and Anchorage for almost 15 months! lol
Christmas is only three days away and my new companion Elder Dallas Norton and I are going to be "white washing" Delta Junction. Meaning that we both don't know the area. It shall be interesting. He seems like a pretty cool comp. We shall have some fun. I can't wait to call home to my family at Christmas!
Oh and the all hailed mailing address that I know you all will use lol JK I love you guys YOU'RE AWESOME!!

SO it is getting darker and darker. We are getting less and less day light. We get about 4 hours of day light now and it keeps losing 5 minutes each day. We have SO much snow. I wear big boots now : )
We have our Christmas Zone Conference this Friday. It is all day from 8 to 8 : ) I loved the Christmas devotional! We got some great men leading our church.
I heard Elder Wirthlin died. I thought he was going to go a couple conferences ago when he almost died giving his talk. He is a great man and I am sure we will get another great man : ) this church is SO true lol : )
All is well in this part of the vineyard. : )

P.S. I hope you like the picture lol. I sat down in the chair after lunch and just fell asleep. My companion took advantage of this moment and snapped a picture of me : )

On this ward. I just wish we had more work to do in this area so we could get these awesome members involved. They are GREAT fellowshippers! Every recent convert in this area has remained active and has been progress in the church. Just not that many Recent Converts: (O so we have a really nice Colorado and we have been pulling people out of the ditches. That is pretty fun and people are really humbled when they are in those circumstances. HA, it was funny so we pull over to pull this guy out of the ditch and told him we could pull him out. Well while we were hooking everything up we told him that we were missionaries and we love to share a message with him and his family. He said he love that we could come to his house. So we get in our truck to pull him out and we pulled him right out. We got out to undo the tow strap and he said that he had his own church and he wasn't interested. It really opened my eyes to see that the Lord humbles people so they will be more receptive to him, but as soon and as they are ok some just forget when they needed the lord. This area needs like a big hurricane and tsunami to wipe out all their homes and humble them. Maybe that is what this economic crises is for is to wake up Gods children and humble them to listen to our message. : /We are trying though,:/ Well this should be a good week. Here are some pictures of me :) Love, Elder Kennedy
